The series introduces the Phayed, who are immortal beings unlike any you’ve read before. They survive by feeding on the emotions and memories of humans. The Phayed exist in secret, brought out by the need to feed. When they feed, they have the ability to make someone forget or ease their emotions to bend them to their will. Phayed are similar to an emotional vampire, but they are much more complex and unique.
